Superb Carved Oak Hall Seat Settle Monks Bench
A superb quality golden oak carved settle, hall seat or monk's bench. The wonderfully carved back with a large oval humorously carved panel with a donkey pulling a chariot, 4 dancing ladies and playful putti.
The seat lifts to reveal a useful storage area and the carved open arm supports are in the form of mythical scaled creatures.
