A fine Victorian burr walnut centre or dining table. The book matched quarter veneered circular top with inset burr cross banding between 2 lines of boxwood inlay. The cross banded edge with a cross banded and cock beaded frieze below. The tripod base with an attractive turned and carved centre column and 3 cabriole legs each with carved scroll feet and brass casters. In superb condition with the original brass catch and bolts. As the photos show this table has a tilt action which allows the top to be tilted for easy moving and transports in 2 pieces. Sizes- Diameter...48''...122cm. Height...30''...76cm.
