Superb 18th C Antique Oak Welsh Press Cupboard
Superb 18th Century Antique Oak Welsh Press Cupboard.
This is a lovely, very original 18th century antique oak press cupboard, made in two sections.
The top section comprises of three shaped and panelled cupboard doors, the central door opens to reveal a drawer, medicine/spice cabinet, a very rare feature in Welsh antique oak press.
The lower section has three moulded front drawers over two cupboard doors, the doors having raised panels.
In very good condition and the oak timber is a beautiful colour.
An added feature are the panelled and moulded sides.
The back boards are great thick pieces of oak, again, all original.
The top cupboard doors retain a lovely working, sliding oak locking bolt system.
Dating from around 1770, this Welsh oak press is now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms.

Smaller items will be sent with a parcel courier. We wrap and book parcels in once a week on Thursdays. If you require an item quickly, please let us know and we can arrange this.
