Circa 1860. An unusual pair of Austrian walnut side chairs, the shaped back with a curved cresting rail supported on a deep upright with ribbing in the center, with two curved spars beneath, the large domed upholstered seat with the upholstery held in place by gimp and brass studs, the back legs are square and slightly out swept and the front saber legs with visible peg dowels and simple seat rails.
