Stunning Yellow Enamel Meiji Cloisonne Vase
This is a beautiful 19th century Japanese cloisonne vase with a stunning enamel yellow ground to the body of the piece. This is attractively decorated with a hen and cockerel among grass and tall bamboo. The vase is in very good condition overall with only a fine hair crack to the reverse on one shoulder that is quite difficult to detect. The bold yellow is a most attractive shade which enhances the colourful detail beautifully to the cockerel and bamboo plants.
This is an attractive baluster shape with silvered base and rim and measures 19 cms high by 8.5 cms in diameter.
UK insured packing and delivery is £15
