Stunning Royal Lancastrian Heraldic Lustre Pot

For sale today we have this superb example of a Pilkington's Royal Lancastrian Lustred Lidded Pot. Beautifully decorated in the Arts and Crafts manner with a Lion Rampant (left facing Lion, representing bravery, strength and royalty) in an ornate shield border to the lid. The body features repeated fleur de lys linked together with scrolling vines. Coloured burgundy and a mottled ruby red over ochre, with a well executed gold lustre finish.
6 1/2" dia x 4" tall. Hand painted marks to the base for William S Mycock and a rabbit for 1910.
Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repair- guaranteed.
