This is a very good quality and stunningly beautiful French late c19th gilt mirror in great original condition.
The frame is very well moulded and finished with the decorative oval with ribbons and leaves.
Fabulous original gold leaf which has aged very well, some gesso coming through to the bottom rail, the mirror has aged very gracefully.
Original mercury glass, giving you a fantastic soft tone.
Very fine quality mirror, very decorative and a great centre piece to any room, whether it is used as an overmantle or to hang above a chest or console.
Measuring:
65'' or 165cm high
36 1/2'' or 93cm wide
