This is an elegant, good quality Regency design oval mirror dating from around 1890 with its original water gilded finish in outstanding condition.
The mirror has attractive proportions and a decorative beaded moulding to the oval frame with a superb gilt ribbon bow crest. This is in really sharp, clean condition overall and the original gilt finish has a wonderful rich colour and antique patina.
The mirror plate is the original bevelled glass in very good clean, useable condition.
This measures 100 cms high by 70 cms wide overall to the extremities of the piece.
