A stunning Hepplewhite bow fronted chest of drawers. The beautifully figured mahogany top with rosewood cross banding and boxwood line inlay with cross grain edging. The brushing or writing slide has brass pulls and retains the original baize lining. The 4 graduated and cock beaded drawers having wonderful figured mahogany veneers and oval brass back plate handles & escutcheons. This superb chest of drawers stands on splayed feet with shaped apron. Condition- Very, very good with a wonderful original patina and oak linings. Dimensions:- Height…37’’/ 94cm. Width…37.5’’/ 95cm.
