This nice country chest on chest is of small proportions and very much in the antique Victorian style. We believe it to be made mostly of old wood, but to be of more recent construction. It is made from solid stripped pine. The chest consists of an upper section with a top cornice and two small drawers over three longer drawers, and a lower section with three long drawers. The piece is supported on shaped bracket feet. The drawers have brass handles, which do differ slightly (mostly in finish / colour). The chest splits in two for ease of transportation.
