Stained Leaded Glass Painted Window Panel C1900
A WONDERFUL STAINED GLASS ANTIQUE PANEL
This is a truly beautiful stained glass panel
Once probably set in a large window it is the decorative centre Bouillon
It shows a man on horseback blowing a hunting horn and is believed to be from the tale of Robin hood
This makes sense as there is a matching panel of a man asleep in the woods
The panel is signed though the signature is hard to make out
It looks like Blousel
The panel is in the most wonderful combination of colours with the outer glass being deep blue
The condition is pretty good with a hairline crack through the panel of the horses rear legs
It has had a chain added at a later date to hang it in front of light
Simply beautiful
