Staffordshire Pottery Pearlware Game Spill Vase
An unusual early 19th century pearlware spill vase, c.1820, of an arrangement of game having been laid up against a tree trunk and grassy base following a day's shooting. The huntsman's bag is also hanging from the tree.
It measures 21cm (8 1/4") high, 9cm (3 1/2") wide and 8cm (3 1/8") deep. Condition is very good: there has been some some restoration to the upper part of the trunk, small branch above the bag and the pheasant wing that points towards the back. A few spots of re-touching to the tree in other places. No other issues with the game items or base and surface wear is light. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
Price includes UK shipping. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
We wish to ensure all our customers are happy with their purchases and offer a full no quibble return policy for all items returned within 14 days. We ask that returns are notified within 7 days where possible. Return postage is the buyer's responsibility in terms of cost and safeguarding the item through transit.
