Spode Bat Print Fruit Pattern Coffee Can & Saucer
Attractive matched Spode bat print coffee can & saucer with sepia coloured pattern of pears on a branch on the can and plums and plums and gooseberries on the saucer. Finished with wide gilded rims. Unmarked, both patterns referenced in Spode Printed Ware 1784-1833, Drakard & Holdway, plates 184 and 163.
The can measures 6.8cm (2 5/8") high, 6.5cm (2 1/2") rim to rim and 8.5cm (3 3/8") rim to handle. The saucer is 14cm (5 1/2") wide and 3cm (1 1/8") high. Condition is very good with no damage or restoration and light surface wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
