This 19th century, English antique armchair is hugely wide.
Probably made as a complete one off, special order.
Miles would like to think it was made for a burly farmer with a wide girth!
Made in solid ash with a beech wood slab seat and featuring a pierced, shaped back splat with shaped lathes and turned arm supports and legs.
In very good, solid condition and the colour is lovely warm and even.
It is double the width of a standard antique kitchen chair.
English and dating from around 1865, this rare antique kitchen armchair is now in our Clitheroe antiques showroom.
