Small Welsh Oak Carmarthenshire Linen Press
A beautiful late 18th/early 19th Century Welsh Oak Linen Press cupboard of superb quality from Carmarthenshire, known locally as a Carmarthen Coffor. Of desirable small size and pleasant proportions and in excellent original condition.
Featuring quality cushion moulded fielded panels and well figured oak throughout, with exceptional surface and colour and rare pierced and shaped bracket feet it is an outstanding example.
Offering a large cupboard space fitted with a deep single shelf over tripple drawers above a further pair of drawers. A wonderful looking piece offering extensive storage. A desirable example of Welsh oak with just a couple of small shakes to the end of one of the top planks and a couple of small chips to the backs of the knobs it presents extremely well.
