A small antique Victorian walnut and marquetry glass fronted pier cabinet / bookcase. This stunning cabinet features extensive marquetry decoration to the top and front. It is in a beautifully figured mellow walnut. It has a glazed door to front and a single shallow drawer above. The door has a brass knob and inside it has 2 shelves. It would have originally had a gallery to the top and pillars to the side, which have been removed at some stage (old marks where they would have been). This antique cabinet would look stunning in a hall, study or living room and work equally well as a bookcase or display unit.
