A good quality small antique Victorian mahogany writing table or desk with a single drawer dating from circa 1870. In mellow well-figured mahogany it stands on elegant turned legs with brass cup casters. With an over sailing top supported by carved spandrels above a single drawer with 2 knob-handles. A well-proportioned piece, it is a good size, offering work space but not too large. In original condition with wear and marks to the top commensurate with age.
