A lovely antique inlaid burr walnut side cabinet. We date this cabinet to the late 19th century.

The cabinet sits on four well turned feet with ceramic castors.

The cabinet consists of a single side hinged door cupboard and a raised rear shelf with a mirror.

The cupboard door features an attractive recessed panel with a decorative inlaid design and is fitted with a lock (key is supplied).

The interior of the cupboard is fitted with two removable wooden shelves.

The gallery back has a raised inlaid shelf and features lovely pierced carved supports to each side. There is a central oval mirror above the shelf with pierced carvings and a matching inlaid design.

The cabinet has an overall height of 56" (143cm) (including mirror back) with a table top cabinet height of 29.5" (75cm), a width of 22.5" (57cm) and a depth of 14" (36cm).

This lovely mirror back cabinet remains in good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some minor light scratches to top surfaces and wear to some edges including a tiny piece of veneer missing from the front edge. The mirror frame has a minor split to the veneer.

This remains a very stylish and elegant mirror back cabinet which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
