Dating from the early 19th century, this bow-front chest of drawers has pleasing proportions for modern living. It has 2 short drawers over 2 long drawers. They are lined with mahogany, a good sign of quality, as are the fine dovetails seen in the construction of the drawers. Excellent mahogany veneers, with crossbanding and line inlays to the top, oval brass handles, and high splayed feet, make this little chest a pretty example of Regency antique furniture.
