A handsome small antique Edwardian oak blanket box or chest dating from circa 1910. Of panelled construction with applied carving and pilasters to the front in a Jacobean Revival taste, it stands on stile feet. The solid top is in beautifully figured quarter sawn oak and lifts on hinges to reveal useful storage space inside. In good clean condition with wonderful warm patina to the oak.
