Stunning little 18th.c. oak Welsh dresser from North West Wales (Merioneth and the Snowdonia region) c.1720. Of diminutive proportions being just 52″ wide and 70″ tall. Featuring an unusual rack with protruding canopy top, two shelves for display and six small cupboards. Shaped slab sides and original backboards. Over an enclosed base with two drawers and a two door cupboard. Moulded edge, raised and fielded drawer fronts and door panels, panelled sides and rear, original oak floor boards. Excellent condition with some earlier restorations. Particularly good colour and patina. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
