Small 19thc Welsh oak pot board dresser & rack
An early/mid 19thc Welsh oak pot board dresser and rack of small proportions of good patina (colour) possibly from the Cardiganshire region in Wales.
The open rack consists of a shaped moulding with shaped frieze, leading down to two shelves with shaped ends.
The rack sitting on a pot board base consisting of six cock beaded drawers (pine lined) with original brass swan neck handles, also having two dummy drawers inlaid with decorative birch panels which is an unusual design .
The base stands on three turned front legs with carved sunburst corner spandrels to the top, the back legs of square design all supported on a panelled pot board, framed with a shaped moulding.
This dresser & rack is in good, original condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home - due to the small size it could even fit into a small cottage or any property for that matter.
