Small 19thC Oak Bureau Desk
A very pretty and practical early 19th Century country made oak bureau of desirable small proportions.
In exceptional condition with wonderful grain, superb colour and patina. All drawers run freely the handles of which are later, the top folding down to create a flat and strong work surface and offering ample storage for a laptop and paperwork.
Small bureaus are quite hard to come by especially in oak and are becoming increasingly sought after given the number of people working from home now.
