Mid 18th century Oak Bureau, rare small size. The fall front opens to reveal a fitted interior of drawers and pigeon-holes, and a good writing surface. Below, the 4 drawers have the best quality replaced brass ware. Standing on delicate bracket feet, this charming bureau would be a beautiful way to get your laptop off your lap, as the working height is just perfect for a smaller person, the 18th century meeting the 21st century! Circa 1760
