Six 1930s Oak Dining Chairs by Heal's
Made of solid oak, and influenced by Art Deco style, this set of two armchairs and four side chairs was retailed by Heal's in the 1930s. The curved back slats are pegged into heavily chamfered uprights and the front seat rail is also curved. The square sectioned legs are joined by an H-stretcher and the drop in seats are upholstered in red vinyl. They are of a rich medium oak colour.
The armchairs measure 52cm wide and the side chairs 47cm. They are all 80cm high and the seat rails are 43cm high.
In very good condition with one chair having been refinished and reupholstered to match the others.
