Early Set of Oak Chairs - c1670

This set of chairs are presented in good antique condition with solid joints and fine colour.

There are six in the set four are 17th century and a pair have been added sometime in the 19th century to make up the set. The later chairs are a very good interpretation and certainly not immediately recognisable as additions.

The oak construction makes for a fine set of seats and the dome crest rail and solid splat are appealing. They offer robust seating and great warmth and charm.

Overall an excellent and rare set of chairs in good order.
