A superb Satinwood desk bearing the stamp for A B Daniell & Sons, Wigmore Street, London.

The desk is inlaid to the top, around the drawers, the base, the central cupboard door, and even to the inside panels of the kneehole.

The attention to detail in this exquisite piece of antique furniture is quite astonishing right down to the original china casters and hardwood drawer linings, which would be expected only from top cabinetmakers. The handles and locks are also all original to this piece. The size of the desk is
