Set of Three Large and Impressive Tapestries c1900
Purchased from a very fine Arts and Crafts house by W H Romaine Walker and believed to be the original tapestries from that house.
All are beautiful quality, hand sewn and in very good original condition.
The colours are bright and strong with no losses to the stitching or borders, original linings to the back have some small tears and stains. A few small blemishes consistent with age but the tapestries have been well cared for and have been in the same family for many years.
Dimensions are:
First dimensions are: DSC5871 - 297 cms drop, 269 cms
Second dimensions are: DSC5883 - 297 cms drop, 147 cms wide
Third dimensions are: DSC5867 - 297 cms drop, 147 cms wide I describe and photograph my pieces accurately and with the aim that on arrival each will exceed expectations.
