Set Of Six Rosewood ‘Balloon Back’ Dining Chairs
A superior quality set of six Victorian rosewood ‘balloon back’ dining chairs, having carved decoration to the backs, upholstered stuff-over seats, cabriole legs to the front and swept sabre legs to the rear.

Condition and Details of Restoration:
These chairs are in original structural condition and completely sound. The polish has been revived, by hand by our own craftsmen in the traditional manner. There are minor old marks to the polish as might be expected on chairs of this age (see leg detail photograph). The upholstery has been replaced, once again by our own craftsmen, with horsehair, in the traditional manner. There are minor old wormholes to some of the blocks and rails, only visible from underneath these are long dead (but have been re-treated by us for the sake of certainty) and in not in any way serious enough to compromise the structural integrity of the chairs.
