A very attractive set of six George 111 period ash and elm spindle back dinning chairs. They have finely turned spindles in the back and stand on turned front legs with pad feet, they all have their original wooden seats. All these chairs have a wonderful original colour and patination, they are in excellent strong original condition. Sizes: 18 ½ “(47cms) wide, 14”(36cms) deep, 36”(91cms) high. Date circa 1800. I have been in the antiques business since 1962, starting in the family business in Staffordshire.
In the early 1970’s I moved to Hertfordshire where I opened my own business and created a limited company.
Today, my business is carried out via the internet. Any successful antiques business, and particularly mine, remains a way of life and a hobby, it continues to give me enormous enjoyment and satisfaction.
