Circa 1880, set of oak Georgian style library steps, with a tapering column on the top with a finial for holding onto. Each of the 4 steps has the appearance of crossbanding in oak and a red leather gilded insert. The joints can be seen protruding through the uprights of the frame. There is a stylish shaped cross stretcher on 3 sides and the whole piece is sturdy and usable. Excellent colour and condition.

Size 160cm high x 58cm wide x 77cm deep.
