Set of Four Pembrokeshire Welsh Oak Dining Chairs
These wonderful chairs are all oak and were made in Pembrokeshire around 1820. They are original throughout and stand at their full original height of 18” which is the same as modern dining chairs (which is great as quite often that have worn down or have been cut for some reason) making them very ergonomic. They also have the most elegantly shaped backs, a rare feature ionly found in the very best Welsh chairs of this region which really aid comfort. They are the most beautiful pale colour and have been lime waxed in the past giving a sublime gentle tone.
They are all super tight and very strong and free from fault. Perfect for daily use and family life.
They measure 90cm high with a seat height of 45cm. Seat depth 39cm. Seat width 47cm
