Remarkable set of eight late 19th.c. oak and leather dining chairs c.1880. High backs with an upholstered pad within an extravagantly carved and pierced surround with crisp foliate detail between twisting uprights topped with turned finials. Over a sprung seat raised on twist legs and stretchers. Good quality vintage green leather upholstery and a long tassel braid around the seats. Minor wear to the seats, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Dimensions: width 17½”, depth 19″, height 42″.
