These are really an exceptional set of chairs from around 1900 when compared to what is normally available. They are much more substantial than most of the sets we see with the scroll detail on the top rail and the burr grain on the central splat they are very good looking too. They have that extra quality in every area from the better shape to the legs which are connected by stretchers to give more support to the flowing sweep of the backs. Just a much more refined set than most and having the matched carvers really does enhance the appeal. Available fully restored and upholstered in your own choice of fabric.............on hold for client...........Sorry now sold
