Set of 8 mahogany Chippendale dining chairs set 8 mahogany %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Antique quality set of 8 mahogany Chippendale revival dining chairs.

Most probably made in the early 20C (although they could be late 19C) and are of a good quality. Their aging and carving is very convincing.

Lovely proportions and styling with carved backs, cabriole front legs, old leather drop in seat pads and ball and claw front feet.

Solid heavy chairs that have no loose joints.

Fantastic aging, colour and patina.

'Cox and Cox, Burnham-on-sea' labels to the underside of some of the chairs.

This is a sought after style of chair, which is quite hard to find.

Overall dimensions 560mmW x 570mmD x 1000mmH (460mmH seat when sat on).

Historic knocks, marks and repairs. The leather seats are old, have marks and wear.

Stock No. 3034.
