Circa 1880, set of 8 mahogany dining chairs (including 2 carvers) in the Hepplewhite manner. The arched top rail over 5 vertical splats with capital and drape decorations over the serpentine-front overstuffed seats with reeded seat rails. All supported on tapering fluted turned legs in front and outswept rear supports. The carvers with sloping arms on tapering fluted supports.
