This set of 6 William IV mahogany dining chairs were made circa 1830.
The chairmaker selected some fabulous dense mahogany timber to construct these exceptional chairs.
The timber as it is so dense means these chairs are of a good substantial weight.
The chairs have the very comfortable curved bar-backs. The shape conforms to your back and so makes it pleasant to sit at.
The well-turned reeded front legs ending on peg feet. To the centre of the back is a carved central splat with shaped s scrolls joined at the centre by a stylised fan.

This set of 6 William IV mahogany dining chairs were made circa 1830.
