An unusual set of late Victorian, solid oak, gothic style dining chairs. These chairs have large lions carved to top, upholstered centre panel, and upholstered seats. They date from the late Victorian period, and are in a dark ebony colour. Sadly, these chairs have had some damage during their lifetime, as a couple of the carvings to the top of the chairs are broken, and there is some slight movement in some of the joints. It is quite unusual to find six complete chairs. These chairs will need some restoration work as the photographs show.
