Set of 6 Blue & White Camel Transferware Plates
This set of antique blue and white transferware plates look to date from around the mid-nineteenth century. They are impressed with a 'P' to the base. They have an unusual design featuring an Egyptian scene with a man and a camel in the foreground and pyramids in the background.
Condition: Overall in fair condition with some wear and damage consistent with age and use. There are some manufacturing imperfections as might be expected. The plates all have some significant chipping, crazing and discolouration, worse on some of the plates than others. Some have some hairline cracking.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
