Antique quality set of 4 Victorian carved walnut (or similar show wood) dining chairs.

We are unsure whether these have British or Eurpean Continent origins, but they are really lovely quality chairs (much better than most).

Great proportions and styling, with attractive wear and patination.

Period brass castors fitted to the front legs (some wear), as one would expect and attractive carving / detailing.

Solid and heavy, with no loose joints.

Seats and backs that have recently been reupholstered in a very heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light cream/oatmeal colour.

Overall maximum dimensions

520mmW x 650mmD x 950mmH (480mmH seat when sat on).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Historically, strengthening has been added to the underside of the seat rails.
