Set of 4 mahogany Regency dining chairs
Antique set of 4 mahogany Regency / William IV dining chairs.
Date from C1820-1840. Fantastic age, colour and patina. Beautiful sabre front legs and carved backs.
Solid and strong with no loose joints.
Good new reupholstery job in a heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light oatmeal colour.
Overall maximum dimensions:
49cmW x 55cmD x 91cmH (45cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Historical structural repairs (to be expected with any period set of dining chairs), but all is good and strong now. A few historic extinct woodworm holes (only visible from underneath the seat), that have been treated for good measure.
