Antique rare set of 4 mahogany Georgian Regency dining chairs.
Date from C1800-1830. Fantastic age, colour and patina. Great sabre legs and simple carving to the backs.
Solid and strong with no loose joints.
Good new reupholstery job in a light grey herringbone upholstery fabric.
Overall maximum dimensions: 49cmW x 52cmD x 83cmH (44cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Historical structural repairs (to be expected with any period set of dining chairs), but all is good and strong now. Just a few historical extinct woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure.
