Antique set of 4 Victorian 19th Century mahogany balloon back dining chairs.

Date from the early/mid Victorian period.

Sought after padded backs and very desirable melon fluted front legs, with period brass and ceramic castors (some wear to castors as is to be expected).

A great rare find, with a lovely colour, age, patina and charm.

Solid heavy chairs, with no loose joints and no significant woodworm.

Sought after style of dining chair.

The upholstery is a new heavy weight fabric (natural straw with a hint of green mixed fibre).

Overall maximum dimensions

Chair 48cmW x 57cmD x 88cmH (44cmH seat when sat on).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. We have not inspected beneath the upholstery.
