Antique quality set of 4 19C Georgian (or possibly later Victorian examples) oak dining chairs.

These are lovely chairs, that are full of age, charm and character, dating from the 19th Century.

There is a distinct absence of woodworm (maybe just the odd hole if you hunt).

The chairs are heavy, solid and have no loose joints.

A very attractive, but simple understated design.

Patination to die for and would look amazing in the right location!

Overall maximum dimensions 51cmW x 46cmD x 89cmH (45cmH seat).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. The wooden seats are old, but strong and good (with a little cracking here and there). Small seat pad cushion may improve comfort for prolonged use.
