Set of 12 Empire Style Mahogany Dining Chairs. set twelve French %%alt5%%
Fabulous set of 12 late 19th.c. French Empire style mahogany dining chairs c.1890. Curved top rails in flame mahogany with a gilded brass decoration to the centre of each. Solid mahogany stiles, also brass mounted. Webbed seat with vintage silk and gold upholstery. The apron below the seat is mahogany veneered onto oak. Raised on slim tapering square front legs in mahogany. Frames are in excellent condition having been cleaned and polished in our workshops. Serviceable upholstery.
