Offered for sale is this superb quality set of eight Chippendale style mahogany dining chairs in excellent condition consisting of six single and two carver chairs. The chairs are a rich conker brown mahogany colour and date to about 1920. The set of eight mahogany Chippendale style chairs are of excellent proportions and have a carved yoke shaped back rail with pierced and carved centre splat above drop - in seats newly reupholstered in a neutral cream and gold fabric standing on cabriole legs with carved shoulders and ball and claw feet. These are a superb quality set of chairs with very dense and heavy mahogany.The set of 8 antique mahogany chairs are in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned, revived and waxed along with the seats reupholstered. Over the past 30 years we have sold over a thousand sets of chairs along with hundreds of dining tables to satisfied customers.
