Offered for sale is this good set of eight mahogany Chippendale style dining chairs dating to about 1900 and consisting of six single and two carver chairs. The chairs have a shaped and carved back rail above a pierced and carved centre splat over newly reupholstered drop-in seats with moulded seat rails above stretchered supports. The chairs are of superior quality and are almost certainly by the makers Waring and Gillow, they are offered in excellent showroom condition with all joints firm and the woodwork cleaned, revived and waxed. The seats have been reupholstered in a neutral gold John Lewis fabric.
