A great rare find, with fantastic proportions and styling.
Lovely colour, age, patina and charm.
Great aesthetic styling.
The chairs are solid with no loose joints.
The velour upholstery is not new, having a little wear and no major marks, but one small 1cm hole in one seat covering.
Overall maximum dimensions
47cmW x 52cmD x 87cmH (42cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. We have not inspected beneath the upholstery. There are some historical structural repairs, but these are all strong and good now. A few historic woodworm holes, believed extinct, but treated for good measure.
