A magnificent set of 6 antique Victorian balloon back chairs in beautifully figured walnut. With attractively carved and pierced back splats and carved and shaped cabriole legs. With good original patina, they have buttoned seats in a dusty pink velour fabric. Solid and sturdy frames. Old upholstery but fairly clean and firm. A very decorative high quality set of 6 antique chair dating from circa 1870.

Good condition. Solid and sturdy frame. Lovely age and patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Old upholstery but fairly clean and firm. One of the chairs has an old mend to the back leg (see photo).
