Offered for sale are this good set of six Chippendale style mahogany dining chairs consisting of four single and two carver chairs and dating from about 1900. The high backed chairs have a shaped and carved back rail with a pierced and carved centre splat above newly reupholstered drop-in seats on cabriole supports with ball and claw feet.The chairs are well proportioned and are a rich brown conker colour, they are in excellent showroom condition with all joints firm and have been cleaned, revived and hand waxed with newly reupholstered seats covered in a neutral gold fabric.
